About

Aromatic annual herb whose leaves are cilantro and seeds are coriander. Bolts quickly in heat.

Growing

Direct-sow every 2–3 weeks for a continuous harvest. Prefers cool weather; provide afternoon shade in summer.

Harvest

Snip outer leaves once plants reach 6 in tall, choosing the broad, flat lower leaves (lacy, fern-like growth means it's about to bolt). Take no more than 1/3 at a time. For coriander seed, let it flower and cut the seed heads when they turn tan-brown, about 3–4 weeks after bloom.
